Korcula
Korčula is definitely one of Croatia’s most treasured islands. In
Ancient Greece, the island of Korčula has played an integral part in the
cultural and commercial life of the Mediterranean. The traces can still
be seen even today, in the traditional dance of ‘Moreška’, the
itineraries of Marco Polo, and their splendid wine and olive oil. Town
of Korčula is often called “Little Dubrovnik” since it gives off a
similar vibe with its medieval churches, palaces, stone houses, and
archipelago in its surroundings. The history of Korčula is so rich that
many people call it real city museum.
